Trans, bi, pansexual, agender, fluid, enby, intersex – Are these terms confronting? Confusing?

During the last ten years, the transgender ideology has taken the Western World by storm. We are seeing many young people being heavily impacted both mentally and physically due to this.

How should the church respond to these issues? How should we deal with these issues in schools? In the family? How do we parent children wisely in this gender-confused culture?

We will discuss how our understanding of sex, gender and identity needs to be grounded in God’s word. The presentation will include:

  • A comprehension of the research around biology, behaviour, and sexual attraction,
  • The current understanding of other pre-existing health concerns in children and teens questioning their gender,
  • A critique of current methods of management, and
  • The biblical-theological perspective of gender and discuss how we can respond with compassion to people with gender dysphoria.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session.

Come along to be equipped to confidently respond with compassion and theological, scientific, and medical knowledge at home, school, and the workplace.

(This talk is suitable for people 15years +)
