What is Bubbles?
Bubbles is our playgroup for parents and carers to bring their 0-6 year olds to enjoy a morning of fun and learning. We aim to:
provide a safe, stimulating space for play
be a caring community
share Jesus’ love and stories from the bible
When and where is Bubbles?
Bubbles meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school term from 10am - 12 pm.
We meet at Pennant Hills Baptist Church. Parking can be found on surrounding streets. For a map, please see Contact Us on our website’s menu.
We start with free play and during this time children will often eat the (peanut-free!) morning tea they have brought with them*. Later we have a focused time based on our term’s theme which includes songs, a story and craft time.
*Food for the adults is provided.
Who runs Bubbles?
Bubbles is led by Ghids Foyn (Tuesday) and Serene Lau (Thursday), who are passionate about children and their growth.
Ghids coordinates the Tuesday group. Before having her two beautiful children, she spent several years working as a Primary School teacher in South Africa.
Serene coordinates the Thursday group. She is mum to five children and like Ghids, is also a primary- trained teacher.
Our helpers are trained volunteers from our church and are accredited to work with children.
Does it cost anything?
It costs $20 per term per family or $70 a year.
