Information for Parents
Check-In
We ask parents/carers to walk their children to the foyer of the church to sign your child/ren in for the day. Our volunteers at the desk will be there to check in your child/ren each day. Once your child is signed in, they will be able to collect their name lanyard before heading into the church for the program.
Children are unable to sign themselves or siblings in. Sign in is available from 9 am. Parking is available on surrounding streets including Rosemount Ave, Ramsay Rd, Maple Ave and Weemala Rd. There will be a coffee cart set up near the foyer and we would love you to join us for a coffee as you sign your children in.
Alternatively, you are welcome to stay for as much of the morning as you'd like, either for Concert Times or the Pennolife Cafe (details further below).
Program
Each day, the program begins in the halls with “Carnival Games”, where children complete small challenges and activities as everyone arrives. They may earn tickets, which can be swapped for prizes at the Carnival Spectacular on Saturday.
There will be a quiet corner for neurodivergent individuals who may experience sensory overload. If needed, please ask our ushers about this.
Children will be in groups throughout the week for a lot of the activities and will have the same leaders throughout the week as much as possible.
The program for each day is as follows:
9:00 am: Carnival Games
9:30 am: Concert time
10:00am: Section time including Morning Tea
11:40am: Concert time
12:00pm: Home time
Don't forget our Carnival Spectacular on Saturday Jan 17th from 6-8pm with free interactive magic show, sausage sizzle and jumping castle. The kids will be able to swap tickets they earn at Pennolife for prizes on this night.
Pick up
Pick up is at 12pm and we ask you to come to the foyer of the church again to sign your child/ren out. A leader will bring your child out of the church to meet you where you will be able to sign them out of the registration desk. If someone else is picking up your child, please notify our admin team at drop off or if plans change during the day, please contact our coordinator Serene to inform her of the changes. We will ask you to fill out a permission form with their name and number at drop off.
